Our Hospital and Ambulance
Our hospital have undergone renovation and was officially opened on 29th March, 2008 by Madame Le Ministre Denise Mekam’ne, Ministre des Affaires Sociales de la Solidarite. Medical staff are available to provide treatment and medication and there is an ambulance to send more serious cases to bigger hospitals nearby. We also have two clinics at Kango camp and Abanga camp that are in operation 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
Places of Worship
Our workers come from all races with different religions such as Christian, Catholic, Muslim, Buddhist and Taoism. All BSG staff work and live in peace, harmony and respect each other. We constructed places of worships for our workers to perform their religious devotion.
Sundry Shops At Camps
We have sundry shops at each camp to cater to the needs of our local community at very reasonable prices. The sundry shops open daily including Sundays and Public Holidays for the convenience of our people based in camps.
Local Functions and Celebrations
Occasionally there are local functions organized by our local workers in the community to celebrate some special events such as wedding ceremony. There is also an annual cultural celebration as well, with performances by dancers and choir from many different ethnic groups within our local community.
